We are able to provide you with a large number of skip sizes to suit your exact needs. These include 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 18 yard skips, which are commonly used for domestic purposes.

Tarpaulin:

We can provide a tarpaulin to cover the contents of your skip. This is an additional purchase item, and you are welcome to keep the tarpaulin at the end of the hire or leave it to be recycled with the skip contents. Tarpaulins are charged at £15.00 for 2-6 yard skips and £20 for 8-12 yard skips

Terms & Conditions

Hire period is 14 days unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to charge a £10 per week inc VAT rental charge for skips which go over the stated hire period.

The skip is your responsibility while on your property. Damage to skips is chargeable.

Skips are for non-hazardous wastes and must be level full on completion. A list of hazardous materials banned from our skips is included on our website at https://www.wtskiphire.co.uk/faq/ and is also included on your delivery ticket.

We reserve the right to charge for hazardous wastes put in the skip by yourself or others, or return them.

No liquid cement, hot tar or wash out in skips. Skips over 8 cubic yards must not be used for the disposal of rubble and soil due to weight restrictions.

Skips must be placed on private ground, not on the public highway, unless a skip permit is obtained by us on your behalf. Skips must NOT be moved once set down. Access to skips must be maintained for collection.

Customers are asked to provide safety information regarding: monoblock areas, driveways, walls, fences, gates or gateposts, drains and drain-covers, overhead wires and telegraph poles. We will not be held responsible for damage where the customer has failed to inform us of hazards. We cannot lift skips over walls and fences higher than 3 feet.

Customers must inform us when the skip is full and allow up to 5 working days for collection.

Delivery & Collection Policy

We will endeavour to deliver your skip on the day selected by you on booking. We reserve the right to change this date due to unforeseen circumstances and we will endeavour to contact you by 4pm on the working day prior to the delivery (Monday to Friday). Our aim is to deliver skips no later than one working day after the requested delivery date.

Although customers can request an AM or PM delivery time this will be used as a guide only. We cannot guarantee a specific delivery time.

Customers must inform us when the skip is full and allow up to 5 working days for collection.

Minimum Age Policy

Customers must be 18 or over.

Cancellation Policy

Customers can cancel their skip by 4 pm of the day prior to delivery, Monday to Friday, for a full refund, minus any card processing fees. If delivery is to take place on a Monday, the skip must be cancelled by 4pm of the Friday before.

If a skip is cancelled on the day of delivery we reserve the right to charge a £50 inc VAT wasted journey fee if the driver has already left with the skip. This will be taken off the refund.

If you are not happy with the skip size on arrival we can change the skip for you, but we reserve the right to charge a £50 inc VAT wasted journey fee, plus any extra charges for the new skip. If you ask for the skip to be returned on arrival we reserve the right to charge a £50 inc VAT wasted journey fee.
